This finding was further validated by an independent cohort of T-ALL patients at ND (n = 3) showing that BACH2 levels were remarkably decreased in leukemic cells compared with normal peripheral CD3+ T cells and different T-cell subsets including single-positive (SP), double-negative (DN), and double-positive (DP) T cells (Fig. 1B). The gene discussed is BACH2; the disease is acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
