TXNIP and liver cancer: [25] revealed that TXNIP-drivenoxidative damage could induce ferroptosis in renal tubular epithelial cells, exacerbatingrenal injury. Moreover, Jian et al. [15]found that TXNIP-triggered oxidative damage could induce apoptosis in liver cancer cells.However, in the context of pancreatic cancer, we detected no accumulation of lipid peroxidesor any difference in apoptosis levels in cells overexpressing TXNIP compared to those incontrol cells.
