High expression of thyroid hormone-binding protein μ-crystallin (CRYM) was associated with low choline uptake in 18F-fluoromethylcholine (FMC) PET/MRT studies of prostate cancer patients, suggesting that CRYM expression may be a potential biomarker for prostate cancer (PCa) diagnosis and prognosis (Aksoy et al. 2021). Here, CRYM is linked to posterior cortical atrophy.
