To elucidate how ALKBH5 regulats GBM angiogenesis, we selected FGFR1, VAV2 and VEGFA as potential downstream angiogenesis regulator according to the bioinformatic results (Fig. 2A), and verified the expression levels of FGFR1, VAV2 and VEGFA in ALKBH5-knock-down U87 cells. The gene discussed is VAV2; the disease is glioblastoma.
