In MS and periodontitis samples, there was a positive correlation between immature dendritic cells and DDIT4L. In samples with periodontitis and MS, type 1 T helper cells, T follicular helper cells, regulatory T cells plasmacytoid dendritic cells, natural killer T cells, natural killer cells, MDSCs, mast cells, macrophage, immature B cells, gamma delta T cells, activated B cells, activated dendritic cells, activated CD4 T cells and activated CD8 T cells showed a positive correlation with FAM46C (Fig. 6e, f). This evidence concerns the gene DDIT4L and periodontitis.
