KEAP1 and lung cancer: We anticipate that complementary experiments with tumor cells expressing GshF alongside the GshF mouse models will enable dissection of the role of glutathione in many settings including lung cancers, which upregulate the Kelch-like ECH-associated protein 1–nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor 2 axis, resulting in pleiotropic effects that include an upregulation of glutathione synthesis (21, 62, 63).
