Dohevanil, a capsaicin analogue from DHA, was the most cytotoxic capsaicin analogue on both U-138 and U-87 cells, tested both in cytotoxicity tests with MTT, as well as apoptotic pathways, expressed by the increase in phosphatidylserine translocation and the expression of caspase 3, as shown in other research with other types of cancers.
