Based on the bioinformatics approach, we obtained seven hub genes: GPR4, SOCS3, BAG3, ZFP36, CDKN1A, ADAMTS9, and GADD45B. The expression levels of those genes were higher than that in the control group, and their AUCs were greater than 0.7, suggesting that their excellent diagnostic efficacy and performance in SAE and/or HE. This evidence concerns the gene SOCS3 and hereditary elliptocytosis.
