KRAS and familial pancreatic carcinoma: There is increasing evidence that KRAS mutations are associated with the development of many cancers, and nearly 67% to 90% of pancreatic cancer patients have KRAS mutations.[17,18] KRAS mutation is close to 24.2% in patients with Hepatic cell carcinoma with extrahepatic metastasis.[19] KRAS mutations are found in nearly 50% of colorectal cancer patients and are higher in women than in men.[20]
