Background: The study, titled “Clinical Value of Serum FABP4, CXCL12 and Inflammatory Factors in Patients with Acute Exacerbation of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease”, aims to investigate the potential role of fatty acid binding protein 4 (FABP4), inflammatory chemokine CXCL12, and various inflammatory factors in the acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (AECOPD). Here, CXCL12 is linked to chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
