CAT and neoplasm: In conclusion, this study proved the efficiency of matricin in mitigating lung carcinogenesis induced by B(a)P in mice model through prevention of tumor formation, reduction of MDA formation, elevation of antioxidant enzymes SOD, QR, CAT, GPx, GR, GSH, reduction of inflammation (TNF-α, IL-6, IL-1β), reversal of apoptosis (Bax, Bcl-xL), immunomodulation of IgG and IgM, suppression of tumor markers (CEA, NSE) and prevention of pathological alterations.
