Spearman’s rank correlation analysis showed that Alistipes, Desulfovibrionaceae_unclassified, Escherichia-Shigella, Odoribacter, and Parasutterella were positively correlated with the severity of colitis (indicated by body weight, colon length, histology score, IL-1β, IL-6, and TNF-α), whereas bacteria Clostridiales_unclassified, Lachnospiraceae_NK4A136_group, Paramuribaculum, Muribaculaceae_unclassified, and Muribaculum were negatively correlated (Figure 4F). This evidence concerns the gene TNF and colitis.
