NFKB1 and serum lipopolysaccharide activity: Oral administration of MLT to rats with endotoxemia led to a significant decrease in NF-κB levels (160.2 ± 57.6 pg/mg of proteins) when compared to the group of animals treated with LPS (254 ± 10.5 pg/mg of proteins) (p < 0.001) (Figure 1A).
