However, in multivariate analysis, only SAb+/GAg− [HR: 9.17, 95% CI: 2.26–37.16, p < 0.01], age [HR: 1.06, 95% CI: 1.03–1.08, p < 0.01], and diabetes [HR:2.35, 95% CI: 1.35–4.09, p < 0.01] were found to be independent risk factors for renal progression. This evidence concerns the gene SH3BP5 and diabetes mellitus.
