Compared to the other three subgroups, SAb−/GAg− MN patients exhibited a milder disease onset with less urine protein (median urine protein at biopsy SAb−/GAg− vs. SAb+/GAg− vs. SAb+/GAg+ vs. SAb−/GAg+: 5.39 vs. 6.84 vs. 6.38 vs. 5.09 g/24 h, p = 0.01), higher serum albumin (median serum albumin at biopsy SAb−/GAg− vs. SAb+/GAg− vs. SAb+/GAg+ vs. SAb−/GAg+: 23.5 vs. 14.0 vs. 21.0 vs. 23.5 g/L, p < 0.01) and a lower prevalence of hypertension (SAb−/GAg− vs. SAb+/GAg− vs. SAb+/GAg+ vs. SAb−/GAg+: 22.22% vs. 42.86% vs. 50.25% vs. 49.09%, p < 0.01) (Table 1).
