Recently, a new nomenclature of atypical CPVT was introduced, including variants in calmodulin (CALM1, CALM2 and CALM3), cardiac triadin (TRDN) and trans-2,3-enoyl-CoA reductase-like protein (TECRL) [2]. The gene discussed is CALM2; the disease is catecholaminergic polymorphic ventricular tachycardia.
