In comparison to normal tissues, elevated levels of KNSTRN expression were observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma, breast invasive carcinoma, cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma, cholangiocarcinoma, colon adenocarcinoma, esophageal carcinoma, head and neck squamous cell carcinoma, liver hepatocellular carcinoma, lung adenocarcinomas, lung squamous cell carcinoma, prostate adenocarcinomas, rectal adenocarcinoma, stomach adenocarcinoma, and uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma. This evidence concerns the gene KNSTRN and cervical squamous cell carcinoma.
