The level of GBP1 expression also plays an important role in the process of LNM in patients with BC, which was also confirmed by our results.19-21 High GBP1 expression is an independent risk factor for BC with LNM, indicating that GBP1 acts as a carcinogen in the development, invasion and metastasis of BC.22 Zhu et al.23 found that GBP1 was significantly overexpressed in the molecular typing of BC triple negative breast cancer (TNBC) and when GBP1 expression was reduced, the TNBC cell lines stopped growing. The gene discussed is GBP1; the disease is breast cancer.
