Our study mainly conducted quantitative analysis at the molecular level of mRNA and protein and found that ACE/AngII/AT1R was increased, ACE2/Ang1-7/MASR and AT2R were decreased in PCOS (Fig. 5) (P < 0.05), which confirmed the imbalance of the two pathways in PCOS for the first time. The gene discussed is ACE; the disease is polycystic ovary syndrome.
