The KEGG pathway-based enrichment analysis revealed that the target genes identified through RNA-Seq analysis for the five AD-associated hub miRNAs were mainly involved in the following pathways: axon guidance, erythroblastic leukemia viral oncogene homolog (ErbB) signaling pathway, mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) signaling pathway, gamma-aminobutyric acid-ergic (GABAergic) synapse, autophagy, 5′ adenosine monophosphate-activated protein kinase (AMPK) signaling pathway, mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR) signaling pathway, and glutamatergic synapse (Table 3).
