Patients with positive and negative MFC-MRD showed similar clinical characteristics at diagnosis, except a higher proportion of white blood cells (≥ 50 × 109/L) and CNSL at diagnosis and HR factors (according to the C-HUANAN-AML 15 criteria) in patients with positive MFC-MRD and the presence of RUNX1-RUNX1T1 fusion gene in patients with negative MFC-MRD. This evidence concerns the gene RUNX1T1 and acute myeloid leukemia.
