IL4 and inflammatory response: These mice exhibited airway inflammation characterized by an influx of eosinophils, B cells and T cells (Figure 5B), a higher production of the type 2 cytokines IL-5, IL-10, and IL-13 in the supernatants of mLN restimulation cultures (Figure 5C) and a robust OVA-specific IgG1 response, a hallmark of type 2 immunity, most likely driven by enhanced IL-4 production in Th2 or TFH cells (Figure 5D).
