A study that genotyped 8 CDKN2B SNPs in 4650 Saudi Arabs to assess their association with cardiovascular risk found that the T allele of rs1333045 [0.54(0.48–0.61); p < 0.0001] was significantly associated with coronary artery disease (CAD) after adjusting for other risk factors. This evidence concerns the gene CDKN2B and coronary artery disorder.
