Increased HOXC6 expression in patients with CRC was prominently associated with advanced T stage (odds ratio [OR] = 1.80 [1.21–2.70], P = 0.004), colon adenocarcinoma (OR = 0.27 [0.18–0.40], P < 0.001), wild-type TP53 status (OR = 0.57 [0.40–0.81], P = 0.002), and mutant BRAF status (OR = 12.27 [5.62–32.27], P < 0.001) (Supplementary Table 2). The gene discussed is HOXC6; the disease is colorectal carcinoma.
