To test this hypothesis, we performed multiplexed immunohistochemistry (mIHC)52,53 on SHH MBs to detect relative protein levels for four markers related to GN development: Ki67 (cycling cells), MAP2 (all GNs), CNTN1 (late-stage GN axons), and VSNL1 (late-stage GN axons and dendrites). The gene discussed is MAP2; the disease is ganglioneuroma.
