We also found that peak levels of 9 cytokines, including IL-6, IL-7, IL-8, Eotaxin, LAG3, B and Tlymphocyte attenuator (BTLA), TNF-α, Monocyte chemoattractant protein (MCP-1), and MIP-1β were significantly elevated in patients with grade 2–3 CRS compared to those with grade 0–1 CRS (Supplementary Fig. S8), suggesting that these biomarkers were correlated with more severe CRS. This evidence concerns the gene CCL2 and congenital rubella syndrome.
