HTR1A and myalgic encephalomeyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome: Compared to wild-type or Htr1a+/+ mice, these mice also exhibited ME/CFS-related symptoms, including fatigue-like behavior in the rota-rod test (p < 0.01, Fig. 5C), augmented pain sensitivity in the plantar test (p < 0.01, Fig. 5D), and anxious behavior in the open-field test (p < 0.01, Fig. 5E).
