Wang et al. (2021) reported that NETs could promote tPA-induced cerebral tissue plasminogen activator (tPA) via downregulation of cyclic GMP-AMP synthase (cGAS) in stroke patients. In addition, the application of RNase was shown to suppress NET formation in mice subarachnoid hemorrhage models (Fruh et al., 2021). This evidence concerns the gene CGAS and stroke disorder.
