LINC00242 competitively bound miR-1-3p, thus counteracting the inhibition of G6PD by miR-1-3p, suggesting that LINC00242 regulates GC cells proliferation and glycolysis progression through the miR-1-3p/G6PD signaling pathway regulating aerobic glycolysis and proliferation of GC cells [57].
