Finally, an additional analysis showed than those patients included in the study that were under therapy with glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonists (GLP-1-RA) showed similar levels of Tr1 cells than healthy controls (p > 0.05, Fig. 4), and significant lower numbers than untreated patients (0.653 ± 0.726 vs 0.274 ± 0.193, p = 0.027; Fig. 4).
