In a recent investigation, the BCL11B protein expression was assessed in a set of 115 cases of T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia/lymphoblastic lymphoma (T-ALL/LBL) that encompassed various subtypes, such as early T-cell precursor acute lymphoblastic leukemia/lymphoma (ETP-ALL/LBL) (29 cases) (25%), early T-ALL/LBL (26 cases) (23%), thymic T-ALL/LBL (42 cases) (37%), and mature T-ALL/LBL (18 cases) (16%). This evidence concerns the gene BCL11B and acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
