In addition to the combination of certain medications discussed above, there are numerous other dual-combination approaches for the treatment of T2D, including combinations of alpha glucosidase inhibitors and DPP-4 inhibitors (94), SGLT2 inhibitors and GLP-1 receptor agonists (95), etc. These combined medication strategies could help to further lower blood glucose levels and achieve better diabetes management and treatment.
