Double immunofluorescence staining showed that NLRP3 was mainly present in microglia within the TNC of migraine mice, which is consistent with the findings of Jiying Zhou et al [23], and we found that TREM1 and NLRP3 were well co-localized, indicating that TREM1 may regulate NLRP3 expression through intracellular signalling in TNC microglia (Additional file 2: Fig. S2). The gene discussed is TREM1; the disease is migraine disorder.
