Interestingly, the expression levels of iRhom1 are lower in the cancer subtypes that are candidates for anti-PD1 immunotherapy such as TNBC or microsatellite instability-high (MSI-H) CRC compared to other subtypes (Fig. 2a), suggesting a likely role of iRhom1 in antitumor immunity.
