Broader examination of the transcriptome of IHLs in chow and FFC mice administered vehicle or TTP488 identified an upregulation of macrophage genes known to be upregulated in NASH — for example, Trem2 (20), Ccr2 (33), and Cx3cr1 (7) — in FFC mice and a reduction following TTP488 administration. This evidence concerns the gene CCR2 and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis.
