Fasudil (Fig. 1), a dual ROCK1/2 inhibitor approved in Japan and China for cerebral vasospasm and pulmonary hypertension, is a promising agent for NASH treatment due to its observed safety, efficacy, and anti-fibrotic effect (IC50 = 0.18 μM [ROCK1] and 0.06 μM [ROCK2]) [30]. This evidence concerns the gene ROCK1 and pulmonary hypertension.
