According to the pooled findings reported in Fig. 4 and Table 4, higher CRP levels were remarkably correlated with FIGO stages III–IV (OR 2.28 [95% CI 1.67–3.13]; p < 0.001), residual tumor size ≥ 1 cm (OR 3.62 [95% CI 2.54–5.18]; p < 0.001), histological grade 3 (OR 1.42 [95% CI 1.02–1.99]; p = 0.040), and ascites volume ≥ 500 mL (OR 8.16 [95% CI 3.52–18.92]; p < 0.001). This evidence concerns the gene CRP and neoplasm.
