Immunohistochemistry (IHC) analysis of eEF1A2 staining pattern in pancreatic tissue samples revealed a strong granular cytoplasmic expression in 83% of pancreatic cancer tissues; on the other hand, negative staining was reported for normal pancreatic ducts, chronic pancreatitis samples, and pancreatic islets. This evidence concerns the gene EEF1A2 and pancreatic neoplasm.
