The TCGA dataset also showed a significant increase in the expression of EEF1A2 in pancreatic adenocarcinoma (PAAD) and its molecular subtypes, basal and classical, compared with normal tissue and GTEx sample (Figs. 4A and 5D), whereas, EEF1A1 showed no significant change in the expression when compared with adjacent normal tissue and GTEx normal sample (Figs. 4B and 5D). Here, EEF1A2 is linked to pancreatic adenocarcinoma.
