Finally, we compared the GSEA pathway enrichment in the gene sets of the OSA and normal groups, and showed that the OSA group was mainly involved in genes related to inflammatory response, immune cell subpopulations, tularemia infections, PPARγ, and monocytes; whereas the normal group was mainly involved in genes related to LPS-stimulated macrophages, DP-type thymocytes, superficial zones in the lymph nodes with inactivated B cells, and PolyIC-stimulated of abdominal macrophages and other related genes (Figures 1E, F). This evidence concerns the gene PPARG and obstructive sleep apnea syndrome.
