Subsequently, 80 pairs of RCC tissues and adjacent normal tissues were collected in our hospital for verification, and the results showed that the expression of ZNF471 in RCC tissues was significantly lower than that in adjacent normal tissues (Fig. 1A), and that there were significant negative correlations between the expression of ZNF471 in RCC tissues and clinical stage and pathological grade in these patients with RCC(Fig. 1B, Table 1), consistent with the TCGA database analysis results. This evidence concerns the gene ZNF471 and renal cell carcinoma.
