Overexpression of SIRT5 was observed to significantly inhibit inflammatory cell infiltration and suppress collagen deposition in the myocardial tissues of DCM mice by HE and Masson's trichrome staining, while the protective effect of SIRT5 on tissues was significantly attenuated after inhibition of GSTP1 expression (Fig. 6H, I).
