AAV-SIRT5-treated DCM mice showed a significant increase in heart rate (Fig. S1D) and an increase in +dP/dtmax and E/A and a decrease in -dP/dtmin and E/e' (Fig. S1E), indicating that AAV-SIRT5 alleviated diastolic function, whereas the combination of AAV-shGSTP1 resulted in a diminished therapeutic effect of AAV-SIRT5 (Fig. S1D-S1E). Here, SIRT5 is linked to familial dilated cardiomyopathy.
