PPARG and bladder transitional cell carcinoma: In this study, we verified that ACAT1 was significantly up-regulated in BLCA and positively correlated with tumor grade, and the inhibitory effect of avasimibe on BLCA may be related to the abnormal activation of PPARγ signaling pathway, revealing that the inhibition of ACAT1 by avasimibe may provide a new idea to study the potential treatments or adjuvant therapy for BLCA.
