Notably, the expression level of WEE1 in tumor tissues of recurrent patients was relatively higher than that of non-recurrent patients (Figure 1B), which illustrated in endometrial cancer, the expression of WEE1 was prognostically important and the tumor in recurrent patients might require more WEE1 to repair the large amount of damaged DNA in replication process, to maintain the tumor cell proliferation. Here, WEE1 is linked to endometrial cancer.
