ITGA2 and posterior cortical atrophy: Given that the expression levels of ITGA1/ITGA2 were downregulated in PCa tumors with copy number loss/del (Figure 1d,e; Figure S1b,c, Supporting Information), and that ITGA1/ITGA2 genomic alterations in turn demonstrated clinical impacts on PCa development and progression (Figure 1i–l; Figure S1i–n, Supporting Information), we next explored whether lower mRNA levels of ITGA1/ITGA2 correlated with human PCa progression in the clinical setting and thus analyzed multiple independent PCa cohorts.
