Despite the usefulness of PSA screening of potential PCa cases, it alone is not a reliable diagnostic tool.[22] Our data showed that PCa patient group with triple low expression of ITGA1/ITGA2/TEAD1 was markedly associated with poor prognosis, increased disease severity and PSA levels, suggesting the ITGA1/ITGA2/TEAD1‐axis as a potential biomarker for early detection of PCa. The gene discussed is TEAD1; the disease is posterior cortical atrophy.
