CHRNB2 and adenocarcinoma: Further studies revealed that an increase in REST-repressed neuroendocrine gene signatures (Type I genes such as CHGA, SYP, SNAP25, CHRNB2 and SRRM4) and transcriptional regulators for t-NEPC differentiation (Type II gene sets such as Sox2, NKX2.1, POU3F2, etc.)(Fig. 1B, first panel) is highly upregulated in C4-2BER as compared to its parental adenocarcinoma cell line C4-2B.
