Using the information from the GeneCards database and an extensive literature review, several candidate genes were found to be related to growth and feed efficiency traits (ARID1B, APPL1, TOX, and GPC5), reproduction traits (GRM1, RNASE10, WNT3, WNT3A, and WNT9B), pelt quality traits (MYO10, and LIMS1), and Aleutian disease tests (IFNGR2, APEX1, UBE3A, and STX11). Here, WNT9B is linked to aleutian mink disease.
