A report at the 2016 ASCO meeting showed a cohort of 379 patients with ovarian or fallopian tube carcinoma have been evaluated for 10 genes AKT1, AKT2, AKT3, mTOR, PIK3CA, PIK3C2B, PIK3R1, PTEN, TSC1, TSC2 in the PI3K/AKT/mTOR pathway20. Here, PIK3C2B is linked to fallopian tube carcinoma.
