We analyzed the expression of Cyclin E1 and c-Myc in relation to pSTAT1 expression in our breast cancer cohort, and observed that pSTAT1 expression was positively associated with the levels of both nuclear and cytoplasmic Cyclin E1 (nuclear Cyclin E1: Spearman r = 0.295, P < 0.001; cytoplasmic Cyclin E1: r = 0.176, P < 0.001). The gene discussed is MYC; the disease is breast cancer.
