Multivariate logistic regression analysis revealed that a family history of cancer (OR = 2.36, 95% CI = 1.00–5.54), bilateral cancer (OR = 4.78, 95% CI 1.61–14.20), human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2)- (OR = 8.23, 95% CI 3.25–20.84), and Ki67 ≥ 15% (OR = 3.88, 95% CI 1.41–10.65) were associated with BRCA1/2 mutations, with the age at diagnosis, age at menarche, and premenopausal status serving as covariates. The gene discussed is ERBB2; the disease is cancer.
