FGF2 and acute myeloid leukemia: The results of a meta-analysis revealed that acute myeloid leukemia patients probably have higher circulating levels of bFGF (SMD = 1.15, 95% CI: 0.35–1.94) [14] and that bFGF overexpression has an adverse impact on the survival of patients with lung cancer (HR = 1.202, 95% CI, 1.022–1.382) [15].
