METTL3 is involved in all aspects of tumor progression, including cancer cell proliferation, migration, invasion, apoptosis, metastasis, angiogenesis, drug resistance, glycolipid metabolism, and tumor stem cell maintenance [177].Recent METTL3 studies in PCa have addressed biological functions, including proliferation, migration, invasion, metastasis, drug resistance, and glucose metabolism (See Table 2), whereas tumor angiogenesis, lipid metabolism, and tumor stem cell maintenance have hardly been investigated (See Fig. 6).
